These furniture were part of the exhibition The poetics of matter which took place on the island of Tinos, in summer 2012, by Maria Vidali architect and Fil Ieropoulos videoartist/ academic.

The showcase of the exhibition attempts to present the journey of matter, as it passes through the hands of people with different creative backgrounds, as well as the dialogue between them. The modernist design of the furniture-object, which constitutes the starting point of this journey, becomes alive and materialises through the work of craftsmen using traditional, as well as individual techniques. The music uses as a starting point this relation, based on recordings of the making-process of the furniture. The video responds to the thematic of the initial drawings and creates an additional terrain of metaphorical relations. Our objective is, on the one hand, the creation of a cyclical path, which keeps material and medium at its very core, and on the other, the dialogue between the different phases of creation. Conceptually, this dialogue is not closed and finite; the connecting parallelisms are completed the moment of reception of the stimuli by the receiver/audience.
The event takes place in a double space, like two sides of a mirror. It has six parts, referring as much to the dialogue of the media as to the process of creation itself.
