Useabrand is an austrian fashionlable by Anna Rihl and Moritz Baier.
Their design is a rather straight-lined and sober one, plain colours for casual men´s and women´s wear. To emphazise useabrand´s even-tempered image and inspired by nature and calmness at the seaside this summer, I choose draft-wood as the main element to work on for the temporary shop-design. To underline the architectonical continuance between ground and first floor in the retail store we built a draft-wood tree which "grows" high up into the vintage floor.
To point out the vertical quality of the space, one of the archways was coloured into a saucy yellow but shouldn´t predominate useabrand´s moderate and smooth look but should annunciate that something refreshing is about to happen.
Meanwhile the ground floor´s hanging arrangements of humble ropes are ordered in a rather chaotic way to distinguish an interesting difference, in the vintage floor the clothes draft-wooden rails are hanged in straight lines.
