Located on the South Bank of the Tagus river, the town of Montijo is part of a logic o territorial development that includes a coastal ring wich develops around the Tagus Estuary, and is thus a privelegd territory in many aspects. The present work aims at upgrading the riverfront of Montijo, giving this space a climate of Urbanity that allows the same feel the pulse of the city itself, in order to connect two distinct moments arise that although urban integrated by very strong territorial contiguities. This is a proposal based on the concept of promoting the encounter between man and the natural environment through a suit of related activities that can be developed in urban areas with a view to stimulating the local economy while promoting new urban dynamics, and a different way to see and live the Territory. Thus the program recommended for this proposal is essentially based on the packaging of activities in line with the capacity and appetite natural soil that they occupy. Therefore this concept is discussed in order to underpin the urban design of the proposal in order to achieve the proposed objectives and targets, since the aggregation of urban networks in oppressed territories to the stimulation and development of local economies.
