Un Loft non troppo minimale/A minimal Loft but not so much | Barbara Patrizio

Il progetto è relativo al restyling di un loft progettato alcuni anni fa in rigoroso stile minimalista.

Il proprietario desiderava aggiungere un tocco di gentilezza e colore all’austerità degli spazi esistenti, senza però dover intraprendere interventi di ristrutturazione pesante.

L’obiettivo è stato raggiunto innanzitutto ridefinendo e precisando le funzioni dei diversi spazi, che nonostante la loro ampiezza erano caratterizzati da una certa indeterminatezza; parallelamente è stato adottato un approccio puntuale nella scelta dei colori, delle finiture e dell'illuminazione, che è stata interamente riprogettata.

L'insieme di questi dettagli contribuisce a dare agli spazi quel calore e quella intimità desiderata dal proprietario, nel pieno rispetto della struttura esistente.

The project regarded the restyling of a loft designed some years ago in a strict minimalism style.After some years "living in a fridgidaire" (to use the client's own words) the owner of this loft wanted to add a touch of softness, colour and kindness to the austerity of the space, but without proceed with a major renovation works.

The goal has been reached at first by redefining the functions of the different areas of the house, that, despite their extent, were pretty vague in terms of spatial feeling: so a new dining area was created, with a committed lighting and the existing dressing room area was completely redesigned and became a small lounge also for the relax.

A precise work about the colours, the lights, the furniture and the materials has been done in order to give emphasis, warm and personality to the environment; that's why we can assume that the major value of this project it's in the details, more than into a single, strong concept.
