The Mandel School for Advanced Studies in The Humanities at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem will be built on a sloped site on the Mount Scopus campus overlooking eastern Jerusalem. The main entrance is located on the top level which appears as a shaded glass pavilion resting on 4 levels of native Jerusalem Stone and accessed by means of a bridge from the botanical gardens. The 4 000 square meter building will house researcher offices classrooms an auditorium study lounges a cafe and gathering spaces.
