Historical centre at the port of Tinos island

The space of the hair salon is located in the area of the historic centre of Tinos port, on the first floor of an old traditional building. The big classic marble staircase which leads to the communal balcony and the space of the hair salon, the height of the space, the traditional timber ceiling and the high windows were essential characteristics for the redesigning of the new space. Both space and furniture were designed with a reference to the proportions of the historic period when this building was created. So the design of the space, minimal and contemporary at the same time, is also enriched by the proportions of the new furniture, the use of marble surfaces and the decorative chandeliers.
