Confined in the rear garden of a dense urban setting; this project is aimed at demonstrating what can be achieved in such compact spaces. The proposal has been designed to enhance its context both Physically & Psychologically, by way of implementing a 'living' green wall and roof. The Living wall has two elements using a special 'Bionictile' ceramic tile that converts polluting gases into useful fertiliser, which will act as 'food' for the planted/ grass tiles, altogether cleaning the air. The memory of such 'green' environments are also considered as way of making the backland area 'feel' better for the local residents, in-turn encouraging them to use those spaces for amenity.
