Community Engine is a free online noticeboard for everyone,
which makes the engine room an unusual shop.
Part office, part pop-up, part gallery.
For us, the solution to the project was found in the software.
Existing technology is pinned on a 30m cork roll noticeboard.
A plywood tech bench reveals the new technology.
Recycled lights, furniture and community notices combine with a mural to fit-out the shop.
The Engine Room opened to coincide with Community Engine Beta in March 2012.
