The building tries to integrate into his architecture culture, landscape, building techniques and local materials, by reinterpreting from a contemporary point of view the forms and the constructive logic of vernacular architecture. We searched the appropriate location for not cutting down any tree, projecting a linear building developed along a wall accompanying access path, and which is stepped to accommodate at the strong slope of the ground . This wall, one of the many stonewalls that are in the environment, is built with local stone (quartzite) to be the qualifier and integrator element of the different spaces designed. Natural materials, recycled or recyclable mostly, have been used in the construction, trying to approach at the "zero maintenance", and respecting the needs defined by program managers of the center, with very specific requirements.
