Award winning LITOTES is the use of a negated antonym to emphatically affirm the positive, and the design of the project is a physical representation of this opposing system of thinking. Specifically in finding the presence of absence: It is not an empty space. Initiated by the AIA of Utah and the Ballet West Company, the FLUID ADAGIO Design/Build competition called for entries from national and international young architects for creating a temporary installation for an outdoor park/amphitheater.
