A country house, near an abandoned chapel, surrounded by an olive grove - this is the place. The project involved landscaping a biological pool - no treatment or maintenance, a full dialogue with Nature. Anyway it was intended a minimal pool, where the match may not realize its organic status. Then the materials used are the traditional wood and concrete, and the filter (essential for maintenance) is disguised. This idea promotes an approach to plants, to be camouflaged because arouses people's curiosity. The operation involves the movement of the pool water and the natural filter, consisting of several layers of different materials, aims retention of organic matter decomposition, bacteria, phosphates, and control the acidity of the water. Aquatic plants through the photosynthesis process, oxygenate the water, and absorb minerals, food algae, reducing its content of phosphate. Algae can not grow, making the water clarity. Oxygen offers optimal conditions for aquatic microfauna feed on the microflora. Energy efficiency is an asset to this pool. With the method of permanent filtration(24 hours per day), we have a symbolic consumption of 20 W / h, approximately 20 € / year (electricity consumed by the engine that drives the water).
