Hypersphere house | Nikolay Vyatkin

The concept of the house is perceived as a combination of a cubical residential area and a spherical protective cover that can independently be transformed depending on the state of the environment or at the discretion of the dwellers (closed/open/partly open).
“Hypersphere” adds an extra-dimension. Why not call it a “hypercube”? The sphere has better aerodynamics; when interpreting the fourth dimension the “hypercube” edges can take any position in relation to the cube, the same sense of an additional dimension is also applicable to the “hypersphere” located inside but in this case the amount of possible interpretations will be not so big.
The following areas are located horizontally on the first floor: the living room with the kitchen, which also serves as the dining room. Residential areas on the second and the third floors are humidity-protected - they are located five meters above the ground level. The roof of the cubical space can also be used. All the levels are interconnected with the staircase and the elevator. Part of the swimming pool is located under the awning.

Идея дома заключается в соединении жилого кубического объёма и защитной сферической оболочки, которая может самостоятельно трансформироваться в зависимости от состояния окружающей среды или по желанию жильцов (закрытая/открытая/частично открытая).
«Гиперсфера» добавляет дополнительное измерение. Почему не «гиперкуб»? У сферы лучше аэродинамика, при интерпретации четвёртого измерения грани «гиперкуба» могут занимать любое положение относительно куба, для «гиперсферы» внутри смысл дополнительного измерения сохраняется и при этом меньше интерпретаций.
На первом этаже в горизонтальном объёме располагаются: гостиная с кухней-столовой, гараж, кабинет и технические помещения. Жилые помещения на втором и третьем этажах защищены от влажности, они находятся в пяти метрах над поверхностью земли. Кровля кубического объёма эксплуатируемая. Все уровни соединены лестницей и лифтом. Часть бассейна находится под навесом, с углублением для прыжков в воду.
