A highly energy efficient school built with environmentally friendly materials that are completely recyclable. The building of 3.000 sq m, with space and equipment exceeding the standard, has nine classrooms for a total of 270 pupils. The spaces are designed with children and the teachers and organized for the best comfort. The school has external play areas, locker rooms, an entertainment space and a lunchroom. The building was designed with the platform-frame technique that provides greater ease of transport and assembly: the entire project, in fact, was carried out in just over one year. La Foca Group has supplied and installed all the wooden structure. The school is equipped with a photovoltaic system and it is a class A structure capable of producing 70% of the necessary energy. The estimated consumption is of 28 kW / sq m per year.
