"Sunny Shore" (Sanatorno-Kurortny Komplex "Solnechny Bereg") is one of the most dynamically developing sanatoria of the Volga region. Its modern medical center, SPA center, bath-sauna complex, a conference hall and banquet halls. It is a famous area for the family rest and weekend, holiday’s activity for people different ages. It is popular not only in Chuvashia, but also people come to this place from Nijniy Novgorod, Kazan, Moscow. PROJECT’S TARGET – to transform old soviet landscape design conception of this space to modern relax area with perfect understanding of the atmosphere of the REST and HEALTH (including physical, mental, spiritual aspects). Area of 77 hectare. MAIN PROJECT CONCEPTION: •To combine SPA-culture with functional zoning for different kinds of people activities; •To present region Chuvash culture, traditions. THE KEY ZONES in THE PROJECT: 1. Walking Garden for Relaxation «Reflections». 2. Summer Theatre (including Formal Garden, Japanese Cherry trees Park, Open Air zone with stage and functional lawn, Pergola’s Secret Garden with places for the calm shadow rest). 3. «Sun&Water’s Room». 4. The Garden for the contemplation «The Time of Happiness» (the central emphasis of this composition is sundial). 5. Two Welcoming Gardens. 6. Two Theme Landscape Design Areas for bath-sauna Complex – «Oriental Aroma», «Nature’s Fresh». 7. Theme Cultural and Historical Mini-Park «Legend of Chuvashia» (with stylized zones and places of activities according national traditions). 8. Photo model Garden (for making memory’s photos). 9. Children’s Park «Eco-Park» (ecological). 10. Beach Area with two Riverside Parks. 11. Recreation area with health path and barbecue houses, oservation terraces.
