House redesign for a rural tourism | 05AM Arquitectura

The aim of this rebuilt is to adapt an old house with a ground floor and two more floors for to use it as a accommodation of rural tourism. The volume was existing but our intervention required to do a new floor between first floor and second floor. It is proposed the aim to resolve a nice space with a small rural character, without fall in a quaint traditionalism and trying to merge with a modern image. We have to do this with a low budget so our proposal is based to try obtaining the maximum performance from the constructive solutions and materials more basics with the available resources. What initially could seem limitations, they become the essence to a way of give answers, based in the wit at the moment to use construction’s simple materials. In this way, for to resolve the new staircase is proposed that at the same time the builder makes up the wall, he puts a steel plate every three rows, that also it will be fixed in the existing opposite wall, getting make a staircase in a easy and efficient way. Even we get a shelves leaving pass the steel plates in the other side of the wall. For the general lighting, when the builder makes the floor of the new structure, it is foreseen to put a cement vault turned upside down, subjected in-between two beams and where is put the light. An easy way to get a general lighting which it will be in line with the resolution of the roof. The basic construction materials are left naked to highlight their qualities and to get a simple and austere image from the accommodation. El objetivo de esta reforma consiste en adecuar una antigua casa de planta baja y dos plantas para poder utilizarla como alojamiento de turismo rural. El volumen era existente pero la intervención requería la realización de un nuevo forjado entre la planta primera y la segunda. Se propone el objetivo de resolver un espacio agradable con un cierto carácter rural, sin caer en un tradicionalismo pintoresco y tratando de combinarlo con una cierta imagen de modernidad. Objetivo que se ha de conseguir con un bajo presupuesto, así la propuesta se basa en intentar extraer el máximo rendimiento de las soluciones constructivas más básicas con los recursos que disponemos. Lo que inicialmente podrían parecer limitaciones, se convierten en la esencia de una manera de dar respuesta, basada en el ingenio en el momento de utilizar los materiales constructivos más elementales. Así, para resolver la nueva escalera se propone que a medida que se vaya levantando la pared de carga del forjado, cada tres hiladas, se coloque una pletina de acero, que también irá encastada en el muro existente, consiguiendo ejecutar una escalera de forma muy simple y eficaz e incluso consiguiendo unas estanterías dejando salir las pletinas por el otro lado del muro. Para la iluminación ambiental del espacio principal, en el momento de ejecutar el forjado se prevé colocar una bovedilla de mortero girada al revés, sujetada entre dos viguetas dónde se hace llegar un punto de luz. Una forma muy sencilla de conseguir una iluminación artificial que estará en consonancia con la resolución del techo. Los materiales constructivos básicos quedan visto para destacar sus cualidades y conseguir una imagen austera y sencilla del alojamiento.
