Entertainment Arena | Miguel Capanema

The project developed as a Final Project Graduation was a Multiuse Arena in the city of Belo Horizonte, with areas for conducting training and playing of various sports. The main idea was to create a space that offers flexibility in their areas. The designed spaces can adapt to different types of events including, games, shows, fairs, cultural and artistic events. The site chosen for the implementation of the complex has 131 square meters and is located north of the vector state capital, near the City Administration of Minas Gerais. The ease of access, proximity to transportation and development potential of the region were the factors that led to the choice of terrain. Besides the presence of a pond and a degraded environmental area that allowed the creation of a park to the design of integrated environmental Arena. In implementing the program of the Arena was divided on the ground, and raised several sectors, such a sports school for beginners and people in need, a food court with dining and living areas for spectators of events, an Olympic swimming pool with water park and jumps, and an arena with spaces for sports activities and events. Also created was a park and a public plaza. To link all the spaces created a marquee that serves as the integrator shaft and cut the ground from north south.
