The objectives was to design a complex according to the rules and regulation of the CDA. The main layout of 36 kanal resembles with the layout of the Doxiades plan of dynapolis that is Islamabad. The concept is to establish the relation between different entities, category A with category B, land with built, road with people. In layout, we created a master plan where resident from all categories could view the whole complex enhancing the visual pleasure. We planned a complex keeping in mind the recent energy efficient crisis. We designed a green complex with 8% area for a park. Every block has shaded façade which possible with the orientation of the building block. We provided every single apartment with its own private roof garden without compromising on inhabitant’s space, privacy and building economics. The building materials are maintenance free which adds to our objective of economical design. Also no pseudo elements are added to the building façade keeping the concept of modern architecture and green architecture. This also makes design very economical.
