This is a small house standing in a small site in center of the city. Most newly-built houses around the site are being converted to three stories buildings. Planning a four stories with the same volume of three stories buildings allows different perspective which enables this house to have an open interior space. As a consquence, this building has an annular openings which appears as an abstract and continuous ribbon in the interior space. This openings erases the edge of the interior space, and makes the outline of the space obscure. This gives a stretch of the interior toward the outside. Besides, treating furniture as an extension of the building gives the space suitable scale and enables us to use the space effectively.
