Interpretazione del Menorah omaggio a Noa

If we each concentrate on doing our best, working on our inner-most soul and closest circle of family and friends, community and country, we will eventually join circles in a huge kaleidescope of good will, bettering humanity and bringing light and healing in place of darkness.

It 's the message Noa for the year of jubilee that inspired the sculpture. The menorah wants to affirm the diversity of the elements that compose it, but at the same time the contribution they make to the composition of the candlestick. The arms of the menorah are of different color and start at different points, elements absolutely autonomous, "stories" that make their way into space. Elements that individually have little meaning, together give us an image of the candlestick.
The base says its diversity, composed of different material composition hosting and participates in the binding to the origin of the main elements of the sculpture.

From the point of view of the figurative is an exercise that aims to question a certainty as the norm of symmetry, the elements of iron in fact, start at different points in the losing such a rule base to find it again later in the complement of the final image. Delivered as a tribute to Noa on June 23, 2007 on the occasion of the event Jazz in the Park in Lower Nocera.

Se ognuno di noi si impegna ad essere migliore nei confronti dei proprio cari, della propria comunità e del proprio paese, alla fine tutti insieme formeremo un enorme caleidoscopio di buona volontà, per migliorare il genere umano, portando luce e conforto lì dove regna il buio.

E’ il messaggio di Noa per l’anno del giubileo che ha ispirato la scultura. Il menorah vuole affermare la diversità degli elementi che lo compongono ma allo stesso tempo il contributo che essi danno alla composizione del candeliere. Le braccia del menorah sono di colore diverso e partono da punti distinti, elementi assolutamente autonomi, “storie” che compiono il loro percorso nello spazio. Elementi che singolarmente hanno poco significato, insieme restituiscono l'immagine del candeliere.

Anche la base afferma la sua diversità, composta da materiale diverso partecipa alla composizione ospitando e legando all’origine gli elementi protagonisti della scultura.

Dal punto di vista figurativo è un esercizio che mira a mettere in discussione una certezza come la norma della simmetria, gli elementi di ferro infatti, partono da punti diversi della base smarrendo tale norma per poi ritrovarla nel completarsi dell’immagine finale. Consegnato come omaggio a Noa il 23 giugno del 2007 in occasione della manifestazione Jazz in Parco a Nocera Inferiore.
