Vezzano Ligure Urban Regeneration and Environmental Improvements | Carlo Calchi

The work developed is the result of an experience carried out during a design work aimed to the knowledge of the constructive systems and technologies necessary to work up to a technologically well defined architectural project. The main keys agenda are the research of the sensitiveness of the knowledge of the compositive and technical culture, the development of a design course and the decisions which little by little define the elements of the project, establishing the proper scale to adopt to gain the aim of the project and enlighting the care of the detail avoiding the neglect of the study of the territory, of the surroundings, of the historical and cultural values, of the local technical, constructive and typological customs. Eventually it must be enlighted the project dealt with the environmental and ecological guardianship in report with the architectural design and the constructive technics: the knowledge of the resources, the environmental impact, the selection of the design and the ecosustainable technologies choises. In particular the project focused on the urban regeneration and the environmental improvements of the commune of Bottagna, the topic of new dwellings, a cultural centre and a market.
