The propose of the project was to refurbish and conserve an old multistorey apartment building in the city of Århus. The design was not only excluded to the refurbishment, but also adding an extension on the backside of the building that would house new kitchen and bathroom facilities. This was done by designing a modern extension to the building that also blended in with the old construciton, and brought the best of modern architecture and mixed it with the old.
