The idea for this building arises from two main focal points: the need for a large south-facing porch overlooking the fields, used to house the harvest and the strong presence of two old monumental trees.

New volumes and arcades embrace these ancient presences, leaving an empty green void that restores the vision of the countryside that extends beyond, allowing the gaze to get through.

A sort of single large wooden roof under which natural and artificial elements coexist and which, despite its large dimensions, attempts to establish a dialogue with the surrounding flat environment.

The objective is not to repeat the language of rural tradition, but rather to seek a new dialogue between new and existing elements, aiming for a slow and gradual integration process.

The house appears as a set of pavilions among which the tallest takes up the idea of ancient dovecotes.

Once again composition and language aim to rewrite the archetypes of the place in a contemporary key.
