A white glaze looks at the horizon

A villa where simplicity of shapes becomes originality and elegance. Baden-Württemberg is one of the sixteen German federal states, located in the southwest, at the border with France and Switzerland. The region is known for its rich and modern economy, such that it’s considered one of the economic driving forces of Germany. In this flourishing context this original private villa stands out, comprising three floors, a terrace with a glass balustrade, a garden and a pool area.

The natural manufactured stone Geopietra®, in the Toce model, was used for cladding some of the external walls of the house, with installation on external thermal insulation. The elongated shape of the stone emphasizes the design of the project characterized by horizontal lines, creating a sense of harmony with the architecture. The stone was also applied to the retaining walls that lead to the oudoor swimming pool area and they support it, creating chromatic continuity between the main structure and outdoor area. White tones dominate the masonry, thanks also to the GeoBi mortar (in the Marche colour). The shade white, used for the outdoor flooring, creates an elegant contrast with the dark details of the building, enhancing the colours of the surrounding nature. The particular shape of the villa’s top floor, where the night area is located, recalls a telescope looking at the horizon.

Una villa dove la semplicità delle forme si trasforma in originalità ed eleganza. Il Baden-Württemberg è uno dei sedici stati federati tedeschi, posto nel versante sud-occidentale, al confine con la Francia e la Svizzera. La regione è conosciuta per la sua economia ricca e moderna, tanto da essere considerata come una delle forze economiche trainanti dell’intera Germania. È in questo contesto fiorente che è possibile ammirare questa originale villa privata, composta da tre piani, una terrazza con balaustra in vetro, un giardino e una zona piscina.

La pietra naturale ricostruita Geopietra®, nel modello Toce, è stata impiegata per il rivestimento di alcune pareti esterne della dimora, con posa eseguita su isolamento termico esterno. La forma allungata della pietra accentua il design del progetto caratterizzato da linee orizzontali, creando un senso di armonia con l'architettura. La pietra è stata applicata anche ai muri di contenimento che portano alla piscina esterna e la sorreggono, conferendo continuità cromatica tra la struttura principale e la zona outdoor. A dominare la muratura sono le tonalità bianche, grazie anche allo stucco GeoBi colore Marche. Il bianco, utilizzato anche per la pavimentazione esterna, crea un ricercato contrasto con i dettagli scuri dell’edificio ed esalta i colori della natura circostante. Particolare è la forma dell’ultimo piano della villa, dove si trova la zona notte, che ricorda un cannocchiale che scruta l’orizzonte.
