Progettare la riqualificazione di questo stabilimento è stato un po’ come raccontare il lieto fine di una storia del territorio. Una fabbrica costruita con altre finalità nella seconda metà del secolo scorso, una nuova attività subentrata alla vecchia in crisi, la volontà di dare una rinnovata immagine ad un’attività storica per Cortemilia e punto di riferimento per il settore della coricoltura in alta langa.

Designing a hazelnut factory was like telling a happy-ending story of my territory. A factory had been built for other purposes in the second half of the last century, and it was adapted for another business in times of economic crisis. The new facility highlights a traditional activity for Cortemilia and has become a point of reference for the entire hazelnut harvesting sector in the upper Langa hills.
