The dramaturgy of the exhibition "Stunder - Anywhere Stranger" is based on a compositional play with contemporary ideal of bourgeois culture. Our intention was t create within a representative gallery space a more intimate "bourgeois" space as a backdrop (quotation), with references

to new "cosmopolitan" places and institutions - like the cabinet, salon or garden pavilion.

Yellow (gold) and soft light gray were modern empire colors of Enlightenment interiors. Oval shape used in print materials and on the info board at the entrance he refers to the medallions with their intimate portraits.

Construction of a temporary exhibition Gazebo in the opening exhibition space with the highest headroom, was created by crossing two SDK walls. Insights into the next rooms beckon to the Salon - a gallery of paintings and miniatures. A carpet in golden yellow on the floor and walls softens the reverberation walks the visitor. It evokes an intimate residential feeling space.

Wall carpets also form the basis for selected works.
Background dark gray color of the exhibition carpet in the room with children's portraits sharply stops visitors view and is a reference to a new kind of light in paintings emerging after the French Revolution. Narrow "Graphic cabinet" the visitor goes to the accompanying installation sound intervention "Substitutes" by female artists M. Mlynárčikova and N. Ružičková - as a link to "Salón" - place of talks.
The exhibition was preceded by research, which resulted in a rich of the first documented monograph of the painter with the same name by name. Katarína Beňová is the editor of the monograph.
The mental ecology of the exhibition "Stunder - Anywhere Stranger" is in sustainability and also in the constant dissemination of current ideas enlightenment. Recycles - reopens - the active topic
human coexistence.

Note: After dismantling the exhibition, the exhibition carpet was used in administrative premises of the gallery as a floor covering.
