The refurbishment of this apartment in Lisbon involved a comprehensive redesign to create a more open and contemporary space.

Originally configured with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the layout was transformed into a 1-bedroom and 1 ensuite bedroom arrangement. To enhance privacy, one of the bathrooms was converted into an ensuite by replacing its door and providing direct access from the bedroom at the end, as opposed to accessing it from the bedroom hall.

The traditional kitchen underwent a significant transformation, becoming a kitchenette. This change not only added functionality but also contributed to a more fluid and flexible space.

The entrance hall and laundry areas were likely reconfigured to create a cohesive and welcoming atmosphere.

A substantial amount of carpentry work was undertaken to meet the client's expectations, involving custom-built furniture, storage solutions, and decorative elements. Various carpentry details were carefully considered to ensure a seamless and aesthetically pleasing finish throughout the apartment.

Lighting played a crucial role in achieving a cozy, calm, and special ambiance. Lightboxes and different lighting details were strategically incorporated to enhance the overall lighting scheme, creating a well-lit and inviting atmosphere.

The design aimed to amplify the sense of spaciousness through an open layout, strategic furniture placement, and the removal of unnecessary partitions. The final result, we hope, reflects a modernized residence that blends functionality, aesthetic appeal, and a carefully curated atmosphere, meeting our client expectations.
