The layout is reorganized to highlight the public spaces of the living room and kitchen, establishing a semi-hidden access from these areas to the more private spaces of the house. Given the lifestyle of this family, we wanted to make the kitchen a focal point of the house around which the rest of the rooms are structured.

In green, the glossy finish on floors and ceilings contrasts with the matte of the vertical walls, which gain prominence as the day progresses through the proposed lighting. A continuous and hidden light bath frames the fronts, leaving the previously prominent walls in shadow. A play of contrasts that makes this room the heart of the home. An open and continuous space of living room-hall-kitchen allows light to flood these areas and enjoy the nuances of the carefully planned lighting in the evening hours.
The original oak floors were restored, given a matte finish with a transparent, latest-generation varnish that contrasts, as mentioned above, with the glossy colored varnish on the kitchen floors. The bedrooms are designed as small havens of tranquility, relaxing and independent, isolated from the hustle and bustle. In the master bedroom, the dressing room is designed as a steel and wood box within a white container that also functions as the headboard of the bed. In one of the secondary bedrooms, the headboard houses the shower, which is read, in turn, as a continuation of the bench-bathtub, all in a continuous matte white finish, contrasting with the restoration of the original floors.
