Located in the Chacras de la Cruz neighborhood, Capilla del Señor, this weekend house seeks to portray nature and dialogue with it; with windows that become large frames of a rural environment that becomes extensive with the interior and inspires the studio to create a morphology that replicates the rural pre-existences.

It is developed in an open "L" shaped ground floor with a central articulation that behaves as the main access to the house; this configuration allows to divide the public area from the private one.

The orientation was prioritized for the efficient use of energy in winter and summer, enhancing the visual opportunities of the field, and dematerializing the volumes towards the north.

Casa Vôlt presents an introverted relationship to the street by means of an organic wall built in sieved brick, which forms a double skin between the exterior and the interior, forming a space in between conducive to the chosen vegetation.

In the living room we find an exposed concrete vault which responds to a cozy spatial search; it is accentuated by natural light, the main character of the environment. This same slab advances horizontally towards the exterior of the lot, creating a material and spatial continuity.

In relation to the private area, the rooms live the landscape with floor-to-ceiling windows. This block has a space for personal use for work.

At the front of the house, next to the access, we find the beginning of the ramp, which generates a playful route to enter the green terrace. From there you can contemplate the best panoramic views of the starry sky at night, or simply enjoy the warmth of a fire pit, in a privileged space.

The constitution of the house is based on noble materials of low maintenance: brick, independent concrete structure, PVC carpentry, smoothed cement floors and wooden furniture veneered in petiribí.

The main objective for Casa Vôlt was to create a refuge to escape to for the weekend, enjoying the warmth and quiteness of the rural landscape.
