There really is no agave distiller like Porfidio. Porfidio is a single-agave, single-origin, single-terroir, single-vintage, single-varietal, single-barrel, first-growth, vegan agave craft spirit that is made from cold pressed, raw agave juice, instead of cooked agave, the normal method. Porfidio is then aged in virgin oak barrels until burgeoning to its sublime maturity status of an Anejo-Extra. From seedling to bottle, it took 18 years to make this bottle. The Y2005 Vintage is remarkably pure and integrated and ranks as one of the finest Porfidio bottlings.
