When the clients contacted us and we went to visit the premises, we found the place empty of furniture but it was obvious that it had had many tenants and many interventions. It was clear to us that the first thing we had to do was to clean up the space to bring out the potential of the premises, stripping it of the layers of coatings it had. In the ceiling for example, we found several false ceilings that had been added by each tenant, removing them we gained a lot of height, we also removed the pavement that had no charm to find a firm floor and finally we removed the plaster from the wall to see what we found, the surprise was that under the plaster there was a large pink natural stone, with much aesthetic value for us. From here, seeing the potential we had, we began to project!
The assignment was to make a beauty salon with 3 dressing tables and a head wash and a closed cabin for aesthetic treatments.
The distribution was created from the stone wall, which is the protagonist and guiding thread of the project, so we placed the dressing tables aligned and facing the stone wall, behind them is the counter that had to have a view to the whole room and the washbasin visually protected by a ceramic lattice of organic shapes.
The pavement is made of polished cement, we were looking for something that would not take prominence, was suffered and durable.
As for the furniture, we chose simple lines and neutral colors to match the stone, large mirrors that would give amplitude to the space and would be a decorative element as well as functional and wooden tables that would bring a point of warmth to the space.
For the cabin we chose a soft greenish color to provide a sense of comfort and calm and a piece of furniture for the water area. A clean space without visual noise.
As for the lighting, technical lighting predominates with a very good color reproduction for the correct perception of the dyes, decorative paper balls on the ceiling and some bulbs in the front of the mirrors to provide warm light to the face and get surround light at all angles to facilitate the work of the professional and that the client is favored.
