In 2019, the Italian Cultural Institute decided to undergo a significant internal redesign, primarily focusing on common areas such as the entrance, reception, library, bathrooms, and offices.

The redesign project prioritized the adoption of new furnishings, a refined lighting design, and a contemporary color palette. The main goal was to depart from the existing antique style, infusing a touch of modernity inspired by Italian design, without substantially altering the internal layout of the spaces.

In the library, given the substantial quantity of books, new display areas and additional bookshelves were created. The design of the bookshelves, characterized by dynamic lines contrasting with the vertical moldings of the walls, creates a visually appealing effect. Natural light from numerous French doors harmonizes with the oblique lines of the shelves, contributing to a bright and inviting atmosphere, ideal for a library.

The library design project has been officially recognized and registered as "CDRStudio Design" by the Australian state, confirming its originality and quality.

Regarding the bathrooms, high-quality Italian products and porcelain were used, reflecting attention to both aesthetics and functionality.

The entrance underwent a modernization intervention, featuring the introduction of light strips and contemporary furniture, contributing to the creation of a welcoming and cutting-edge environment.
