Take a seat, we're starting

NS STUDIO was founded in 2013. Initially, we worked on small architectural projects. Meanwhile, we conducted experiments on furniture and product design. The product design and various interior creation elements have evolved together with the company's development and expansion, thus became the essential components of each of our projects.

After working in this field for almost ten years, we felt prepared to launch a product design practice that would run concurrently with architectural and interior design practices, share the studio's unified philosophy, maintain individualism, and serve as a platform for independent product design idea generation.

We are pleased to introduce the first collection of NS PRODUCT, "TAKE A SEAT, WE ARE STARTING", which contains a number of unique products. Each item is created by hand in Georgia, as are all of its components.

The concept of creating this collection arose while working on one of the interior design projects. The process began with the creation of a table silhouette, which was mostly influenced by the architectural splendor of Georgian historical structures. The aesthetics of the table design served as inspiration for the creation of additional items in the collection. We believe that visitors will be inspired by the products' uniqueness and simplicity of form, adding diversity to any space.

AN

A chair in the collection known as "An" is one of the most significant products in the collection. A seemingly rigid and static silhouette made of straight and curved lines drastically changes appearance when produced with different materials, allowing it to serve not only as a chair for various places but also as an intriguing, sculptural element and bring an odd originality to the decor.

SAN

"San" chair is presented as a high variation of "An". It radically alters its appearance thanks to its height, and the viewer's attention is drawn to it because of its exceptionally high back. In our perspective, a chair with a 2-component metal belt backrest is more sculptural than its lower counterpart. It provides a genuinely different sensation in any kind of environment. Natural wood, metal accents, deco­rative elements, and fabric covers are among the collection's more prominent materials. With a dec­orative coating that has an aluminum texture, the product can also be used outdoors.

RAE

The dining table's substantial oak legs, which are joined together by cylinder-shaped stainless-steel pipes, replicate the chair's curving profile. Transparent glass is used as the surface material to add contrast and visual lightness.

"Rae a long chair"is presented under the same title. Despite the resemblance of the basic outlines, we wanted to make this volume more substantial as a whole, so we used a decorative coating in the color clay for the long chair's surface and legs. This version is also made to be used outside.

SKIRA x AZURITE

Working on one of the interior design projects had an influence on how this product was created. It was required to come up with a creative yet straightforward space separator that was both fascinating and partially permeable. That is how the idea was born, the material was chosen that had never been used for this specific purpose before, and a partnership took place. We created "SKIRA" by combining a set of geometric shapes that might be symmetrical or asymmetrical, recycled pressed paper, and both ornamental and practical metal pieces. A curtain with additional uses as a decorative element on walls and as a backdrop. With its distinct color and texture, each element adds even more individuality to each composition that is produced.

GOBI
The Gobi is an attractive and practical house accent for all interior design styles. With its raw, unrefined covering and texture, a circular silhouette carved from a single, large wooden component uplifts viewers spirits. A metal sphere with a rough finish has been positioned in the center of the structure. This allows the metal sphere to reflect the surround­ings and transform into both a sculptural and useful aspect of the room.
