Last year we had a unique opportunity to contribute to this challenging project in Norway. We were commissioned to create two images for a quick feasibility study for the local port authorities. Our clients were looking to show different alternatives for upgrading the existing facilities.

The initial idea was to show the building proposal from the water. Firstly, it was intended to have only one hero shot angle showing the front of the main building. Still, the client later decided to have two renderings, which wouldn't differ too much in the mood but would show different sides to their construction and design ideas. J.M.W Turner's paintings directly inspired the cover view, with the waves and the dramatic nordic background truthful to its realistic impression.

The first image is imagined to show how the port looks during the season, when the cruise is approaching the terminal, while the other image could serve to show the building during the off-season when the space is partially used for other purposes, such as conferences etc.
