This project near Versailles is set on an angled lot running along a large natural, landscaped promenade. The only facility in a new residential neighborhood, the Maison des Associations is a focal point that creates and structures the public space.
The architecture of the project represents its function: a dynamic building in movement whose perspectives evolve depending on the urban point of view from which it is seen. The play of the curves on the façade expresses the program of the operation, translating the dynamism and movement of the conservatory, reception hall, and multipurpose rooms.
The large veils of the façade are made of architectural concrete poured onsite. They give the project its changing forms, where, depending on the light, during the day or night, and the place one is standing, the building's appearance evolves.
