Since ancient times, the Longshan culture of Jinan has been regarded as one of the cradles of Chinese civilization. It generally refers to a collection of cultural relics from the late Neolithic Age in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River in China. The initial discovery took place in Longshan Town, Licheng County, Jinan City, Shandong Province (now part of Zhangqiu District, Jinan City), which led to its name. The recently completed design by H DESIGN for Jinan Longquan Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel is situated here with a symbolic representation of "New Century," signifying an exchange for fresh ideas, discovering new momentum through communication and exploring uncharted territories.

The interior design concept draws inspiration from both the solemnity inherent in Confucian etiquette and self-cultivation principles found within Qilu culture while incorporating elements reflecting local architectural styles and distinctive cultural characteristics specific to Qilu region. By juxtaposing an ancient large bronze carving background wall with contemporary acrylic reliefs infused with modern aesthetics, it skillfully creates a historical dialogue transcending time and space. The lobby's ceiling features hollow light tube lighting that mimics clouds above, exuding grandeur and magnificence while evoking a sense of freehand atmosphere reminiscent of Qilu splash-ink painting style. Overall, this spatial arrangement offers expansive vistas that foster open-mindedness among guests visiting Shandong Province's future-oriented New Century Hotel.
