The Surly Crab sits at just a stone's throw from the water, featuring a ground level that includes an outdoor fireplace, family room, water sports storage, and the beach-level signature speakeasy. Hanging from the concrete hearth ascending from the shore, the main level encompasses communal areas: living and dining spaces, in addition to the kitchen. Positioned one level above, the Primary Suite and a small guest wing suspend twelve feet above the regenerated forest ground, offering panoramic views of the fjords and the Hood Canal. The Primary Bathroom showcases a projecting tub for open-air arboreal bathing, with retractable glass doors on two sides, evoking a feeling of drifting amidst the trees.
