House K is situated above the Eisack Valley in the rural village of Villanders. The area is characterised by meadows, pastures and chestnut groves. In addition to the cultural landscape, the view of the Dolomite mountains has a decisive influence on the design. Traditional and natural materials characterise the appearance of the wooden building. The shingle façade in particular reflects the rugged and natural life in the mountains.
