The project for the Sports Complex, with an approximate site area of 86,211.69 m² and a built-up area of 8,000 m², is designed to create a sports center of excellence with international standards, providing society with public use of this site.
Designed to be a national sports training center for the practice of athletics, the project has a strict and complex program, dictated by the international standards of World Athletics (International Athletics Federation).
The project starts with the insertion of an athletics track and a grandstand, which in addition to accommodating 980 people has space for the support of the public and athletes. In addition to the track and grandstand, the complex has three more buildings: a training facility, a physiotherapy center and accommodations.
