Five-story extension with 39 new hotel rooms Halmstad / Sweden / 2023

The Front House is a new five-story extension added to the front of the existing hotel. The new hotel wing with roof terraces frames the entrance streetscape outside. With large glazing that maximise and bring natural light into the interiors, we developed a design language for the extension born from the original hotel building. With an honest, warm feel and exclusive materials the 39 new hotel rooms draw its inspiration from the sandy beach and dunes outside.
