Interior designer Svetlana approached a 130 m2 apartment project in a modern urban complex with a clear vision of creating a multipurpose yet coherent space. The apartment's layout, enriched by the natural light from windows on two sides, was conceptualized to seamlessly integrate the living and kitchen areas into a singular, flowing space that extends into a home office. This design convergence was aimed at striking an optimal balance between visual charm and functional utility to support both living and professional functions.

The layout integrated an open-plan kitchen-living room that naturally transitions into the home office, a hidden laundry room accessible from the hallway for convenience, a private guest bedroom with an adjoining bathroom, and an intimate master bedroom complete with an accommodating dressing room and an en-suite bathroom. Svetlana Li's design philosophy is deeply rooted in the interplay of natural elements, harmonizing wood, metal, and stone with accents of silk, wool, and leather, all within a tastefully monochromatic color scheme.

The Arclinea kitchen's minimalist charm is enhanced by its stainless steel accents, with a lengthy shelf and hood that stretch over 4 meters, harmonizing with the stainless facades of the built-in appliances. This sleek metallic finish contrasts beautifully with the deep tones of the cabinetry and the classic elegance of natural Carrara marble. At the heart of the dining area, a table designed by renowned French architect Jean Nouvel for MDF Italia serves as a modern focal point.

The meticulous arrangement of natural wood wall panels and the arresting presence of a Patagonia stone "triptych" articulate the space's geometric precision. The addition of a bespoke De Castelli metal panel by Leonardo Sonnoli introduces an avant-garde texture contrast, with its dark DeLabre metal enlivened by copper inserts. A multifunctional cube concealed behind dark panels ingeniously houses the laundry area, maintaining the living space's sleek aesthetic.

The home office is distinguished by a Poltrona Frau desk clad in the finest leather, while the master bedroom's comfort is defined by the plush leather detailing of the bed designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina.

The walls, coated in English paint with crushed marble, offer a nuanced texture, with the color scheme of the walls and ceilings selected for their complementary hues. The designer's mission statement reflects a dedication to creating versatile living spaces: "At each project, we strive to create a space where people can live out different life scenarios in an aesthetic and comfortable environment." Svetlana Li's vision consistently delivers spaces that enable a seamless narrative of life's diverse scenarios against a backdrop of stylish comfort.
