The area where the building has to be built is fairly complex. Compared to the surrounding buildings, the new building for the municipal bocce courts is immersed in the Morla Valley and almost only its roof can be seen aboveground. According to the local zoning plan, the area is part of a system of equipped public green areas with a high environmental value.

The natural lighting, which literally floods the playing courts, is directed by the shed roof to the north, thus providing for diffused and not direct light, which is suitable for sports events and art exhibitions.

The building and its equipment have been designed to ensure great flexibility of use both indoors and outdoors.
