P.L.U.G. represents the implementation of an alternative and critical proposal for addressing the solutions adopted to create cities in the yet-to-be-defined new rural environments.

The substantial and noteworthy growth of cities casts a shadow over the anarchic urbanization process unfolding in rural areas. Conversely, strenuous efforts to attract tourism at any cost inevitably foster a distorted identity centered around sugarcane cultivation. In reality, the intensive over-exploitation of the soil is rapidly expanding, emerging as the primary catalyst for environmental degradation in the region.

An action plan is put forth to configure the territory and facilitate interactions among the various components constituting the landscape. This entails the creation of a model for an ephemeral, mobile, and adaptable city that evolves over time and space, anchored by a network of activity centers to cater to temporary demands.

The system unfolds across three key phases: the formulation and analysis of a methodology to define the suitable site, a typology proposal encompassing diverse complementary programs, and the establishment of foundational infrastructure, always poised for integration with the plug-in cell.

Once the site's needs and requirements are identified, a novel architectural layer is introduced to the landscape through the establishment of a structural exoskeleton. This framework serves as a foundation for the various programmatic cells. Clusters are strategically positioned throughout the territory, each equipped with the necessary tools to facilitate their individual progress.

This travel-oriented landscape resolves the outdated connectivity and dependency issues existing between dispersed urban zones and the city center.
