Unlocking Warehouse Potential: A Fusion of Art and Industrial Design Feira de Santana / Brazil / 2022

Given the vast area of the warehouse and the delimitation only by the existing pillars, we developed a program of needs that allowed us to explore the maximum potential allowed. Taking advantage of the existing roof, black paint was applied, which increases the feeling of emptiness and freedom in the environment, creating a perfect setting for the store.
In the center of the store, amidst the exposed furniture, there is a plaster structure supported by steel cables. This artistic installation, in perfect fusion with the dark tones of the roof, seems to float in the space, creating an additional experience in the store. This artistic intervention, proposed by our office, was designed to be a highlight within the space, a work of art among the furniture.
Carefully thought out details reinforce the brutalist language of materials and the industrial essence that the space explores. the exposed block under white paint, the luminaires in aluminum profiles and steel cable and the uneven concrete display are examples of this, adding a touch of modernity and sophistication to the environment.
