KINCANG Egrets Waves Sales Center | LYCS Architecture

The Shaoxing KINCANG Egrets Waves "Soaring Egrets" Lifestyle Aesthetic Museum, designed by LYCS Architecture. Architecture, interior and furnishing has been completed and opened after about 100 days of rapid construction. "Innovation," "quality" and "speed" are the "impossible triangle" for all creative work, and design is no exception. Design is no exception. As real estate development enters the era of "high turnover", the throttle of speed has hit bottom. How to balance quality and innovation while landing quickly has become the fish and bear's paw in front of designers. Instead of sitting and sighing: you can't have it both ways. What is important is to learn how to choose.

KINCANG Egrets Waves is a new exploration of high-density urban and residential issues by LYCS Architecture. Inspired by the fluttering egrets on the Xiaoshao Canal, the project adopts a streamlined shape as its styling language. Continuing the overall plan of "Egrets Waves", the aesthetic pavilion adopts the design concept of "soaring egrets". The horizontal eaves and the entrance canopy form a simple and powerful line. The willing attitude brings a tough sense of strength and an incredible artistic atmosphere to the whole building. The building façade adopts large floor-to-ceiling glass, facing the street, opening the door to welcome visitors and satisfying the display function of the Life Aesthetics Museum. While inside, the building is surrounded by water scenery, providing a unique cave.

Classical aesthetics of the surface and the inside
The curves and curved chamfers make the building soft and spacious, but the production is difficult and the projected duration increases. How to get the project to the ground quickly while keeping the streamlined form as much as possible? Beneath the modern appearance of the Aesthetics Pavilion is a classical symmetrical composition. The streamlined shape eliminates the mechanical rigidity of symmetry, and LYCS Architecture reinterprets classical aesthetics in a lighter way. At the same time, thanks to the symmetrical design, the number of non-standard components is drastically reduced, making construction less difficult and building faster. The main construction difficulty of the streamlined eaves comes from the hyperbolic shape of the canopy. By simplifying the division, the designer transformed the hyperbolic shape into a single surface, reducing the construction difficulty. The aluminum panels are rolled and bent in the factory, prefabricated, welded and assembled on-site, reducing manual links and ensuring construction accuracy.

he central water feature is elegant and chic: the "floating belt" is smooth and soothing, like the waves waved by the egrets inadvertently, blending with the building. The high degree of unity of architecture, interior, furnishing, landscape and concept will subconsciously promote people's communication in it. It will incubate the identity and sense of belonging of future residents. During the birth of the KINCANG Life Aesthetics Museum project, the design team made trade-offs in insistence and insistence trade-offs. Benefiting from the integrated strategy, the concept is in tune and closely cooperated, and the design cycle has been significantly shortened while maximizing the preservation of originality and completion.
