As a result of the 2020 pandemic, home office concept grew increasingly, where offices were closed and people confined, as a result of this, after the contingency was over, many buildings remained unoccupied, for many companies opted to maintain this concept active, leaving behind thousands of buildings abandoned.

The Den is a project born by reusing one of the many building corpses laying around the city, maintaining part of the preexisting structure but with a different use, ensuring and giving a new life to a forgotten structure.

In a vigorous attempt to reconnect the different users that roam around one of the most famous and exclusive zones in Mexico City: Polanco, The Den attempts to be the seed of a new art district, where the main focus is the creation, display and commerce of art, including housing for emergent artists that can give life to the artistic program of the original building designed by Mexican architecture firm HEMAA.
