The design works on the theme of the environment. The surrounding mountains are (except for a few days in the summer) covered with snow. It often snows even in August.
The shape of the snowy topography, the game with light and shadow, rock and snow was adopted into the Façade concept. The house is as a mirror of the surrounding landscape. Resolved in pixels and mapped using Fiber cement panels in white and dark gray.

The gable roof was taken over as a defining design feature. The delicate proportion of the traditional small-scale Alpine structure continued and dissolved in special positions. The glacial, heavy skin opens with an apparent ease. The life below connects with nature over large glass surfaces. The concrete walls detach from the ground and seem to float above it.

The house is a single storey concrete structure. Wall and ceiling as supporting structures without transverse load connectors ensure an open and free space. Three functional zones form one
star-shaped floor plan. The geometric cubatures are clearly perceptible. All rooms are on one level. The living room opens onto spacious glass facades to the outside.

The axis of the adjoining rooms and bedrooms is with its development as a house within a house. The Spatial qualities in this axis all have their own gable roof and can be experienced from the inside. The development zone allows a view of the roof of the house in the house.

The building was designed as a low-energy house. The heating is done by geothermal energy
surface collector.
