The site is a gentle sloping hillside, situated in a bend of the access road. It is a typical one-family housing area. The site where it is built is surrounded by other houses but with a fantastic view of the local mountain range and into the valley of the nearest town.

The principal concept was to provide maximum privacy with maximum generosity in space.
The client’s highest interest was to integrate wellness and fitness facilities into the daily life.
Through these parameters we developed a U-shaped main living area enclosed with a grand terrace.

Around and open to the terrace, oriented to each other, are the living and eating space, sauna steam bath, fitness room, relaxing room and on the terrace and along the terrace you find the pool and the whirlpool with waterfall and integrated shower in the outside concrete beam.

Above the main living area located are the master bedroom, bathroom and dressing room followed by a terrace with a wooden-deck. Below the main living area, which is like a platform standing over the gentle slope, you find the entrance and the garage for three vehicles. Furthermore you find two guest-units integrated, the wine cellar, technical utility-room and storage.

The house is a low-energy house, heated by alternative energy, in this case an earth pump, realized
by depth drilling. All heating is generated by the floor and wall - low temperature-heating system. Also the pool is heated by the system.
