Marmara White Marble - Silver Travertine

White Marmara marble is a marble that has given life to important structures in both world and Turkish history. It is possible to see Marmara marble in Ephesus and Troy civilizations, many Roman and Byzantine buildings, many Ottoman palaces, Masjid al-Aqsa and many other historical buildings. Throughout history, marble has been seen as an indicator of magnificence, power and wealth.
In addition, it has antibacterial properties due to its structure. One of the important reasons why it is preferred in Turkish baths is its antibacterial structure. Marmara white can be used for many years without any problem in most of the interior and exterior spaces. Thanks to the high sulfur minerals they contain, White Marmara marbles are generally preferred in environments such as baths that require hygiene. Marmara marbles, which prevent the reproduction of bacteria in public baths; They were widely used in many of the Ottoman baths in history.

Silver travertines; As it naturally contains fine crystals, it has a softer and pasty texture unlike marble types. They occur as a result of the precipitation of calcium carbonate in groundwater under certain conditions. This precipitation creates travertines with soft lines over time. Conditions that play a role in precipitation; evaporation, the decrease in the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) contained in the water, and the decrease in the pressure on the water. Gray travertine has areas of use such as steps, flooring, covering, sink, mosaic, etc. Silver travertine products are compatible with black marbles, white marbles and basalt products, and a basalt pedestal basin or countertop will look very elegant in a bathroom covering made of silver travertine. In addition, gray travertines can be combined with anthracite and black marble mosaics.
