Project with Merav Souday | Photography by Noga Shacham Porat

Space programming, planning and design of the new home for the activity of "OutBox" NPO.
The site of the project is a warehouse listed for conservation owned by Bat Yam municipality.
The design terminal is actually a container for various learning and creation programs for promoting young designers and social values. In return for participation in a training program, each trainee designer is committed to take part in educational activities headed by OutBox in favor of the community.
The new 1600 square meters space includes multiplicity of complementary uses that intended to generate a cycle of economic independence for the terminal and a radiant public space for the city: studios for the trainees, materials library, workshop, nurture factory for people with special needs, shop, offices, inner gardens, conference rooms, classroom, coffee shop and a common space for events.
The project reconstruction was enabled thanks to unique cooperation between the public, private and the third sectors.
