COOOP. is proud to have worked on Nando's, Maponya Mall project in 2015. This project for client Nando's was an opportunity to create a warm and inviting interior that reflects the sunny Afro-Portuguese heritage of South Africa.
We achieved a sense of connection to the natural world and Africa's culture, with the use of earthy textures, vibrant colours, and contrasting patterns throughout. One of the standout features of the restaurant’s interiors was the incorporation of local South African art and design, providing a unique atmosphere for the diner to feel at ease and comfortable.
Accentuating the atmosphere were the red tile walls, referencing the Nando's branding and the African Bird’s Eye Chilli or as they call it “PERi-PERi”. This project was a great success and thanks to COOOP.'s expertise and vision, Nando's Maponya Mall is now a proud representation of the South African culture.
